Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > This is one of my all-time favorite photos. I spent several days with this ram, and took many photos, but none better than this. Notice the bore tide coming up Turnagain Arm and the Kenai Mts. in the background. What a memorable day, one I'm sure I'll never forget.
Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > August 21, 2005 - Here I am at my favorite hole on the Kenai River. I'm holding a nice Silver (Coho) Salmon. This fish had me into my backing shortly after being hooked. There were huge numbers of Red (Sockeye) Salmon moving upstream - probably one to two dozen fish per minute going by. These reds were way past prime and were almost a nuisance as they provided 'cover' for the few silvers that were mixed in. A closeup of this fish is also available in this gallery.

Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > Had an incredible halibut trip with Key-O's Guide Service out of Deep Creek. From left to right is myself, Matthew Teel, Caleb Teel and Luke Hoffmann. We figure we ended up with 140+ lbs. of halibut fillets after all was said and done. And Matthew topped it off with a nice fresh King out of the Anchor River. It's nice to have a load of halibut in the freezer. By the way, I highly recommend Key-O's Guide Service. They are family run and offer a quality experience. Besides halibut out of Deep Creek and the Anchor River, they also do Kings in the Kenai River and Silver Salmon out of Seward. Give them a call at 1-800-478-5396.
