Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > Jacob's smile is about as wide as the river. Here he holds his red salmon taken on 8/2/07.
Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > Jacob fights his red salmon with some assistance from Dad. These fish were really fighters, sometimes tail walking halfway across the river!

Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > King salmon (chinook) number 5 of the 2007 season, taken June 23 out of Ship Creek, located in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. The gear pictured here is a Temple Forks 10 wt. rod, an old Pflueger 1499C reel and my own king fly I've designed called the Shag Rug.
Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > August 21, 2005 - Here I am at my favorite hole on the Kenai River. I'm holding a nice Silver (Coho) Salmon. This fish had me into my backing shortly after being hooked. There were huge numbers of Red (Sockeye) Salmon moving upstream - probably one to two dozen fish per minute going by. These reds were way past prime and were almost a nuisance as they provided 'cover' for the few silvers that were mixed in. A closeup of this fish is also available in this gallery.

Andy Sorensen (ajstudio) > May 27, 2005 - My first king salmon of 2005. It was so fresh from the saltwater, this king still had sea lice attached. It weighed just shy of 25 lbs.
