Andy Sorensen (ajstudio)  > Photography > Polaroid SX-70 Manipulation
The day of SX-70 film manipulation is about to come to a close. Polaroid is phasing out the manufacture of SX-70 film in the first three months of 2006. Although I didn't do a great deal of this, I will miss it. Once in a while, it was fun to pick up the folding camera and try my hand at these unique artistic photos. I see this film is now selling for $15 a pack which only gives you 10 shots - getting a bit expensive - and soon won't be available for any price. This was my only tie-in to Polaroid. And with it's passing, I doubt there will be another to come along any time soon. Sigh - - - Like so many other things, time has rendered it obsolete. It was fun while it lasted.
